MISSION STATEMENT:

AFRICAN CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE is community-based organization that focuses economic empowerment and community resilience. ‘s mission is to create economic opportunities for refugees, immigrants and BIPOC communities in King County. ACE offers employment services and referrals for African immigrants and other BIPOC communities. We lead civic education, community engagement, outreach, and policy change.

AFRICAN CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE

AFRICAN CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE enhances learning options for skill development for immigrants and BIPOC communities. We offer career counseling and referral to livable wage jobs in the construction, health, and other in-demand career pathways

We offer the support needed to overcome barriers to successfully complete the program and gain employment success.

We manage day-to day project operations and partnerships to meet project deliverables and enrollment, training, and income/earnings outcomes.

We provide outreach and recruitment for services and referrals as required; attend community events, conduct info sessions and outreach to other service providers to recruit applicants for enrollment.

We also execute intake assessments, create individualized employment plans, and offer intensive case management that emphasis on barrier removal, job readiness, job placement, and financial stability.

Our team identify and assists in removing barriers for program participants that have impacted success in obtaining and maintaining employment.

We run a variety of assessments to determine the learning pathway and support needed for each participant to reach their employment and career satisfaction goals.
